Valentine's Day
Since me and my boyfriend have been together for almost five years and have been out every year for meals on Valentine's Day, this year we decided to stay in, make cakes, have a takeaway and watch movies!
Tony thought it was a clever idea to order a large kebab, as well as noodles and salt and pepper chips. It was too big and of course we didn't finish it. But we had a good try and enjoyed it:)
We started of the day by exchanging cards and gifts,
I got a gorgeous me to you bear card which is insanly cute!
Then we decided to make cupcakes with marshmellows hearts and flowers on top.
It started off a bit of a disaster as the mixture wouldn't go runny but we eventually fixed it and made these yummy buns!!
Looks more like we threw the icing on but it tasted good!! The plans was to have red icing but that ment adding way to much red food colouring which would of made the cakes taste funny.
We used our lush lonely heart bath bubble bar! It actually did make the bath glittery it was so cool and pretty! I can't believe I get so excited over a bubble bar. It also smells nice. The smell reminds me a little bit like the swimming baths but if you like that smell then there is your perfect bubble bar from lush :D
Like every couple on Valentine's Day you have to take the odd silly selfie :P
For those who haven't had a girlfriend or boyfriend on Valentine's Day then it doesn't matter!!! Just because you may be single doesn't mean you can't enjoy the day with friends or family going to the movies etc!
At the end of the day, it is just another day
