21 YEARS OLD | MY BIRTHWEEK | KAYLEIGH FLANAGAN

Image
Hi guys! At the beginning of the month, I turned 21 years young (i like to say young as i still don't feel old, even though the title says old!). My family and I gathered together to celebrate my birthday with cake and a scrumptious BBQ! I had a full week off work which was amazing and was able to do so many things with my fiancé! We ventured over to Formby which is home to a Red Squirrel sanctuary. Obviously, because I am incredibly lucky (not) I saw a whole 0 squirrel however, we had a lovely walk around the sanctuary and also, had a mini photo shoot. As well as a lovely picnic on the sand dunes. The next day we went for another walk around a lake! we almost got lost and then later figured out we were on the correct oath back to the car! something always has to go wrong while were out and about but I love it! The following day we went to a national trust property called little mortam hall. This is an old tudor property. The building is so p...

WHAT I GOT FOR MY BIRTHDAY | 2016

Image
Hi guys! This time last week I turned 20 years old! People say you feel really grown up when you turn 20 but to be honest, I still feel the same. I think it's because I don't have any major responsibilities such as a house to pay for etc.  Due to it being my birthday I was able to choose what we all ate for tea (this is something we have done since I was little). It would be no surprise to you if you have read my blog or watched my videos, that I chose crepes AKA pancakes! It's my favourite food so of course I had to. My Nanna and Grandad also got me a lovely cake which we devoured in two days!  I had such a lovely birthday and, I am lucky to of revived such lovely gifts from my family and boyfriend. I appreciate everything and I am ever so thankful to them for making my day wonderful.  The gifts I kindly received are; Alice through the looking glass eye shadow palette (from...

South African Restaurant | Dads Birthday

Image
Hi guys! On Friday we celebrated my dads birthday. He got lots of exciting gifts and cards. He obviously got the main 'dad' present of toulbourone. Earlier on this month he had mentioned about going to a South African restaurant so, mum decided to book a table as a suprise. We told him on Monday that we were going out but wouldn't tell him where. He continuously  attempted to spoil the surprise by asking me and my brother where we were going. He hates surprises! We managed to keep it a secret though.  On Friday when we all arrived home from work/college we drove for about an hour to go to the South African restaurant. I think he knew where we were going as we had the built in satnav on and the postcode kind a gave it away. When we arrived it was fairly dark as we had the table booked for 7pm. The restaurant was next to a huge lake (i couldn't get a photo of this because it was t...

Flight simulation and carvery

Image
Hi guys another blog post of something exciting we did for mums birthday!! On Sunday we traveled to a place in the UK called Bacup and took part in a flight simulator experience. It was good fun as we got to see what a cockpit actually looks like. There are so many buttons it looked a bit complecated!! The whole simulator was set out like a plane including the cabin, toilets and food trolleys :') Mum got to simulate a take off and landing as well as a flight from Manchester to Leeds.  There were plenty of airports to choose to land at including; Orlando, Seattle, Hong Kong, Dubai, London and many more!! This was the view we could see from the cabin when looking out of the window. It look quite realistic.  We then went to a pub next door and had a lovely pub lunch. I piled my plate high as I was so hungry :')  The best thing about an English roast is a Yorkshire pudding!! Escepically with peas and gravy. Yummmmmy :D  Check out the video...
