SEVENTEEN MEGA MATTE LIPSTICK

Image
Hi Guys! I have recently signed up to the seventeen blogger network. I love being a part of the network as it gives me so many tips and advice. They recently invited me to a blogger event however I sadly couldn't make it. They then went on to very kindly send me two Mega Matte Lipsticks. The colours they sent me are so pretty. If you didn't know, these lipstick have more or less just come out! They sent me 'Back To The Fuchsia' and also 'Violet Summer'. The names are super cool. I don't have a super bright purple or pink matte lipstick so I am certainily in love with these. I'm lipstick mad!!! I have tried them out and they look super cool on. The purple is the easiest to apply although you do need to add a couple of coats to get a good colour pay off. The pink, takes a bit of work to apply however, it is a beautiful colour. I absolutely adore them. The pink is matte through out whilst the purple one is matte however, has a purply, ...

WHAT I GOT FOR MY BIRTHDAY | 2016

Image
Hi guys! This time last week I turned 20 years old! People say you feel really grown up when you turn 20 but to be honest, I still feel the same. I think it's because I don't have any major responsibilities such as a house to pay for etc.  Due to it being my birthday I was able to choose what we all ate for tea (this is something we have done since I was little). It would be no surprise to you if you have read my blog or watched my videos, that I chose crepes AKA pancakes! It's my favourite food so of course I had to. My Nanna and Grandad also got me a lovely cake which we devoured in two days!  I had such a lovely birthday and, I am lucky to of revived such lovely gifts from my family and boyfriend. I appreciate everything and I am ever so thankful to them for making my day wonderful.  The gifts I kindly received are; Alice through the looking glass eye shadow palette (from...

NO MIRROR MAKE-UP CHALLENGE ♡ 2016

Image
Hi guys!! Recently I have been loving to watch the no mirror make-up challenges. They look like so much fun and they also look super hard. I wanted to give it a go so, today i took to filming the no mirror make-up challenge. It was very hard. I don't know how people manage to successfully apply liquid eyeliner without a mirror. To be honest i struggle to apply it with a mirror!! I'm not sure if i would give it another go as it is really hard and awkward as you aren't sure where to look but maybe one day...  When doing the challenge I realised how hard it must be for those who are either blind or have extremely bad eye sight. Products I used: Smash Box photo finish primer water Chi Chi fabulous and flawless foundation in 0.5 Porcelain. Collection lasting perfection concelar in Fair 1. Chi Chi naturals / sun kiss palette. Rimmel London liquid eyeliner in Black. Soap And Glory Archery eye brow pencil in Blonde. Rimmel London eyebrow masca...

FIRE FAIRY ♡ SFX MAKE-UP

Image
Hi guys! I wanted to share with you this make-up look I created a few weeks ago in college.  For a pre observation our aim was to create what ever we wanted using a prosthetic piece. Me being me, loving fantasy, I created a fire fairy. I mainly decided on the fire fairy due to my friend having red hair. I couldn't really do a blue water fairy when she had red hair (unless I did ariel hmm..). So any way, back on topic.  To create the look I used red and gold glitter mixed with the illamasqua sealing gel. This ensured it would last and set in place. I also used two prosthetic ears. I applied them with spirit gum and made the lines invisible by using liquid latex. The rest was just normal make-up. Apart from red contour that is.  I hope you enjoyed this blog and I will chat with you all on Sunday!  Kayleighx

Interview Hair and Makeup

Image
Hi guys! This week i have an interview for a job i have applied for. I hate interviews as i get super nervous and anxious. I find it really hard trying to make sure that my anxiety is under control. My boyfriend came to the interview with me so i felt more comfortable on the journey there and also for support (obviously he didn't come in the room).  I wanted to share with you how i had my hair and makeup for the interview. It's important not to have dramatic makeup. The more natural you are the better. They won't like it if you turn up bright orange with eyelashes half hanging off. For my hair i literally brushed it through and shoved it into a high pony tail. It looked smart and appropriate. The photos were taken after wards so it looks a bit scruffy now. I also have to much baby hair!! When attending an interview i always try to make my self appear confident. I introduced my self and then told the interviewer(s) i was pleased to meet them. That way they wil...
