Hi guys!!!

In June last year we lost our gorgeous dog. It was so upsetting and I cried for days. She was an English Springer Spaniel. From being born I have never lived without a pet, so it was so strange not having an animal around the house. We had thought about getting another dog but Misty cost us a lot and my parents wanted to wait before getting another dog. My brother on the other hand had wanted a cat for a very long time. He had been looking at kittens from September and my parents decided that he would be aloud to get one after Christmas. On New Years ever he went on the website 'pets4homes' and found a litter of Siamese cats. I don't normally agree with that website because some people don't care about what sort of home the animal is going to and thats how you end up with abused animals, any way my brother contacted the lady via the website and she got back in touch with us. She told us that we could come and visit them and see if we would like to home one. So during the first week of January my brother, mum, boyfriend and I all hopped in the car and went for an hours drive to go and visit the kittens. 

When we arrived we were greeted by a lady and gentlemen. They were both so nice and made us feel welcome. The kittens were in a cage because they were young and being fed by mum still. The couple had three children so we knew the kittens would be used to different noises and they also had four other cats. The kittens mum and dad could both be seen so we knew the temperament of them. My brother held one kitten and fell in love with her straight away as she was a little monkey. My mum, boyfriend and my self were holding the other few kittens and also the parents. I turned around to see my boyfriend holding a female kitten and he said from the moment she looked into his eyes he had fallen in love with her and that is how we came to have the kittens. 

Question one: What is your pets name?

Answer: Mine and Tonys' kitten is called Luna and my brothers is called Akira.

Question two: What type of pet is it and what breed? 

Answer: They are both Siamese kittens. Luna is a blue point Siamese and Akira a Lilac point.

Question three: How long have you had your pet?

Answer: We have had the kittens for 10 and a half weeks. We picked them up a few days before they turned 9 weeks old.

Question four: How did you get your pet?

Answer: We first saw the kittens on a website called pets4homes. My brother contacted the family who were selling them, we then got to go down to Warrington and met the kittens. The kittens were kept in a loving home and mum and dad could be seen as they were family pets.

Question five: How old is your pet?

Answer: The kittens are 19 weeks old. They were born on the 17th November 2015

Question six: What are some quirky aspects about your pets personality?

Answer: Luna is very sweet however, she is a hunter. When is comes to cuddly teddies she likes to pick them up and fight with them. She will start growing and hissing at her sister. Akira is just a monkey. She likes to climb on everything and is one for steeling my bobbles

Question seven: what does your connection with your pet mean to you? 

Answer: Luna has meant a lot to us since the moment we picked her up. She is is sweet and small!!! She makes the home feel more homely.

Question eight: what are your favourite pastimes with your pet?

Answer: Some of the favourite pastimes with Luna and Akira include, Playing with multiple cuddly toys (trying to grab them off Luna whilst, she runs down the stairs with teddies 3x her size are some of the funniest) We also enjoy playing with the laser pointer with them especially in the dark. They love it!! We can also walk around with them on our shoulders while doing tasks, They make themselves at home up there and take some convincing to get down.

Question nine: what are some of your pets nicknames?

Answers: She has a few nickname Luna's nicknames are Luna Buna, Loopey Luna, Luna Lion (due to her being a little hunter). Akira doesn't have many nicknames. She occasionally gets called Shakira for a laugh, she isn't named after Shakira though.
