Nars sheer glow | lush

Image
The other day I went to Manchester City centre to do a spot of shopping with my nanna and mum. We went in the car and had lunch at Marks and Spencer's cafe. I had the children's pasta as it was only small and I wasn't overly hungry. I bought some new underwear from m&s which I don't really think I need to show... I then went into selfridges and treated my self to Nars sheer glow foundation in shade Serbia. My skin tone is extremely pale!! I have never tried this foundation before so I hope it's good. The only bad this is that it didn't come with a pump. All the testers had pumps and nowhere stated it wouldn't have one, therefore i persumed a pump would come with the foundation but, it did not:(. I tried the shade mount blanc but even that was to dark against my skin!!  I had a look around for clothes but i couldn't see anything I fancied buying. So i will just wait. Finally I went into lush and, treated my self to, two goodies. I bought another bathB

PANCAKE DAY!! Yuuuummmy

Image
Today it's pancake day!! One of my best days because, my favourite sweet food of all time is ...... pancakes :D I started by gathering up these three ingredients: 400g plain flour 4 eggs 600ml semi-skimmed milk Sounds like a lot but we are a family of four:)  First of all i added the flour into a bowl, i then made a hole in the middle of the flour and added the eggs. I whisked them together with a little bit of the milk. Once smooth keep adding the milk a little bit at a time. I started off the a normal hand whisk and then decided to use and electric as I was unable to get all of the lumps out! I then poured some of the mixture into the pan like so: Then I forgot to take pictures of the end results....they tasted amazing thought!! I can't flip so I had to use a spatula to flip my pancakes. I had golden syrups, sugar and some icecream with my pancakes. What kind of things do you enjoy to eat on your pancakes??

Living with dyslexia...

Image
There are many people out there who suffer with different types of learning difficulties and the degree of the difficulty can vary!  I have dyslexia so i sometimes struggle to spell and words can sometimes look jumbled up. Like alphabet soup.  I wasn't diagnosed with the condition untill my last year in highschool. My mum asked my primary school to run assessments on me however they told her i would be fine. Which i wasnt. I have always struggled in maths and English and I used to get laughed at continuously for not being able to spell. My boyfriend and family helped me to pass my GCSE's. You shouldn't be affraid of asking for support and help. People would call me stupid and thick and tell me I was like a child due to my disability. It used to bother me all the time but now I don't let it affect me. If you show the bullies it hurts and upsets you, they will continue to call you, if you ignore them eventually they will get bored and leave you alone. My way of thinking i

Valentine's Day

Image
Since me and my boyfriend have been together for almost five years and have been out every year for meals on Valentine's Day, this year we decided to stay in, make cakes, have a takeaway and watch movies! We started of the day by exchanging cards and gifts, I got a gorgeous me to you bear card which is insanly cute!  Then we decided to make cupcakes with marshmellows hearts and flowers on top. It started off a bit of a disaster as the mixture wouldn't go runny but we eventually fixed it and made these yummy buns!! Looks more like we threw the icing on but it tasted good!! The plans was to have red icing but that ment adding way to much red food colouring which would of made the cakes taste funny.  Tony thought it was a clever idea to order a large kebab, as well as noodles and salt and pepper chips. It was too big and of course we didn't finish it. But we had a good try and enjoyed it:) We used our lush lonely heart bath bubble bar! It actually did make the bath glittery it

On Friday me and my boyfriend went to the trafford centre in Manchester.  It felt like it took forever to get there when really it didn't:')  The trafford centre is a huge shopping centre full of various shops of course, and is just outside of the city centre. When we got there we spent a while walking around and looking for a place to eat untill we eventually settled on burgerking. Not healthy but there isn't many around and they are delicious. After we ate we went  into lush and bought three items: (Bath ballistic) granny takes a dip  We loved watching it dissolve. It looked like a little jelly fish!! Heart bubble bar. I can't wait to use this I hope it does actually make the bath glitter and not all sink to the bottom! Finally we bought the unicorn horn bubble bar. This is part of the Valentine collection!! We used half of it today and it created amazing nice smelling bubbles. We then went into sea life and saw the most beautiful fish and a giant sea turtle called Ea
