PUG CONVENTION??

Image
Hi guys! We have had a lovely weekend. The suns been shining, walks have been had and we also went on a family day out. We live not to far from a huge park called 'Heaton Park' It's kind of a well known park in the UK due to its size. It's also the place that holds the 'Park Life' festival. We decided to go there on bank holiday Monday. Going out on bank holiday is always super busy no matter where you go. When we got there, their was a fairly big que to get into the car park. We didn't know there was a bank holiday fair going on. The fair made it slightly busier anyway, we walked through the fair just to have a nosey at what was there. My mum spotted a ride called the twister or twizzler and decided to have a go as its her favourite fun fair ride. My dad kindly agreed to go on it with her. He wasn't so keen, lets just say that having a runny nose and going on a spinning ride doesn't end very well!! It was hillarious though (to

FESTIVAL MAKE-UP | GRWM ♡

Image
Hi guys! In a few months festival season will begin here in the UK. We have a lot of festivals that take place in the UK, from Glastonbury to V festival. Personally I have never been into festivals but, I love the make-up. It's outgoing and colourful. I have been playing around with my make-up and wondered how i could make my make-up appear festival like so, I came up with this idea. Natural eye make-up with a long wing and then blue under my water line. I love the way it turned out. I think i am slightly obsessed with it. I have blue eye and it makes them look a bit darker which doesn't bother me. When going to festivals you want something that will last a long time. So go for the water proofs. If you are really outgoing you could wear this look whenever. I think i'd be a bit to nervous... Any way, here is what i used to create the make-up look. What i used: Collection - Prime and Ready Urban Decay- Eye primer Ben Nye - Compact eyeshadow in Cork Ben N

SOAP AND GLORY CLEANSING MILK | REVIEW

Image
Hi guys! For a very long time I have been using the Kaeso cleanser, toner and moisturise. We began to use them at college and I loved them. Using the three products together made my skin feel very soft and it made me feel relaxed. About a month ago my boyfriends mum bought me a soap and glory gift set. I don't often use a lot of soap and glory products but I am deffinatly going to start using them. In the gift set was a cleanser that claims to melt away make-up. The first time i tried using it I absolutely loved it!! I have been using it every day for about three weeks. The scent of the product is peachy. It literally smells edible. The main thing I like about the cleanser is that it makes your skin feel really clean and tingly/cold. It feels like it has done a good job.  My skin is fairly sensitive but this product works really well with my skin. It doesn't make it feel dry or tight. How i use it: I squirt one pump onto my hand and rub it all over my face. I then tak

NO MIRROR MAKE-UP CHALLENGE ♡ 2016

Image
Hi guys!! Recently I have been loving to watch the no mirror make-up challenges. They look like so much fun and they also look super hard. I wanted to give it a go so, today i took to filming the no mirror make-up challenge. It was very hard. I don't know how people manage to successfully apply liquid eyeliner without a mirror. To be honest i struggle to apply it with a mirror!! I'm not sure if i would give it another go as it is really hard and awkward as you aren't sure where to look but maybe one day...  When doing the challenge I realised how hard it must be for those who are either blind or have extremely bad eye sight. Products I used: Smash Box photo finish primer water Chi Chi fabulous and flawless foundation in 0.5 Porcelain. Collection lasting perfection concelar in Fair 1. Chi Chi naturals / sun kiss palette. Rimmel London liquid eyeliner in Black. Soap And Glory Archery eye brow pencil in Blonde. Rimmel London eyebrow mascara in Blonde. Lo'

FIRE FAIRY ♡ SFX MAKE-UP

Image
Hi guys! I wanted to share with you this make-up look I created a few weeks ago in college.  For a pre observation our aim was to create what ever we wanted using a prosthetic piece. Me being me, loving fantasy, I created a fire fairy. I mainly decided on the fire fairy due to my friend having red hair. I couldn't really do a blue water fairy when she had red hair (unless I did ariel hmm..). So any way, back on topic.  To create the look I used red and gold glitter mixed with the illamasqua sealing gel. This ensured it would last and set in place. I also used two prosthetic ears. I applied them with spirit gum and made the lines invisible by using liquid latex. The rest was just normal make-up. Apart from red contour that is.  I hope you enjoyed this blog and I will chat with you all on Sunday!  Kayleighx

STAYING SAFE IN THE SUN ♡

Image
Hi guys!! The past few days here in Manchester (and probably the rest of the UK) it has been so beautiful. The sun has been shining and temperatures have reached 25ºc. From being very young my parents have always made sure i am protected from the sun. My dad grew up living in South Africa so he is very aware of the damage the sun can do. I think it has been drummed into me from all the years of being caked in sun cream that, being safe in the sun is important. A lot of people think they are to cool for suncream but you really aren't. Just because you are, lets say 16 doesn't mean that you won't get burnt. It also doesn't mean nothing will ever happen to you. One day in the future your past could catch up on you. So no matter what age you are stay safe!! My key tips for staying safe include: Always wear suncream. You may not think you need it but you do. The sun is very dangerous so you must make sure you have a high UVB/UVA sun cream and, that the

Top 5 High end Lipsticks | 2016 ♡

Image
Hi guys! I want to share with you my favourite high end lipsticks that i have been loving! They are from various brands and are kind of different colours. Some i received as gifts for christmas however i know i love them (obviously) and, i know i will love them for a long time. My first favourite is called Baci by Stila. This is a liquid lipstick and is a pinky nude. I bought this in  pack of three at christmas time and have recently been wearing this colour constantly. It has been my go to lipstick throughout February and march. It costs about £16.00 to buy it on it's own. It is super long lasting and matte. They applicator is incredible as if just molds with your lip shape.  Secondly i have been wearing the Too faced Melted lipstick in shade Peony. These cost £16.00 and are fabulous!  They glide on so easily and it's a really nice pink. It's not bright either and really compliments my skin tone. Urban Decay Revolution lipstick in shade N
