Make-up Revolution | Awesome Metals

Image
Hi guys! In december i purchased three of the makeup revolution awesome metals eye shadow foils. I had heard that they are a dupe for the Stila Magnificent Foils eyeshadow which are so expensive. The Stila foils are priced at £33.50 here in the uk which is a crazy amount of money to pay however, i would love to try them.  I picked up these make-up revolution eyeshadows for £2.00 each!! Considering how cheap they were i decided to purchase three of them. When trying them i thought i bet they aren't as good as everyone says they are but, i discovered they are brilliant. They give a beautiful colour pay off. I purchased shade Pure Platinum, Black Diamond and Emerald goddess.  They didn't have the rose gold shade in store which i am upset about because i LOVE rose gold :( I recently created a look using the Emerald goddess eyeshadow but you can't see the colour pay off due to the lighting.  When wearing Emerald goddess i received so many compliments on my

Easter Cookies | Tanya Burr's Recipe

Image
Hi guys!! Seen as today is E aster, Yesterday me and Tony decided to make some Easter cookies. We followed Tanya Burr's recipe as the are so delicious. To make the cookies more Easter appropriate instead of adding chunks of dairy milk we decided to add crushed mini eggs and also mini cream eggs cut in half. If you would like to know how we made these delicious cookies then read below.  Firstly pre-heat the over to 200 degrees celsius and line your baking tray with baking paper. The ingredients to make these cookies are: 300g Caster sugar 200g Butter 1 Large egg 75g Coco powder (we used Cadburys hot chocolate powder). 275g Self Raising Flour Dash of milk. 1 Packet of Cadburys Mini Eggs 1 Packets of Cadburys Mini Cream Eggs Firstly we measured out all the ingredients into bowls just to make the job a little easier. We then added the butter and caster sugar into a large bowl and creamed them together. After they are creamed together, add the egg and whi

Top 5 Drug Store Lipsticks | 2016 ♡

Image
Hi guys! It's me again back with yet another top 5. This time i am going to show you my top five drug store lipsticks, most of which i have loved for ages.  If any of you know me, you will know my favourite thing about make-up is lipstick. It just transforms any look. I feel as though i have a wide variety of different shades and brands so i thought i would show you some of the cheeper ones i like to wear. Some of the lipsticks look a bit old and worn away because i have had them for a while... Firstly i love and always will love the Rimmel London Matte lipstick in shade 107. I found this shade through watching Zoe Sugg (zoella). She is a similar skin tone to me and when i saw it i thought geeez i need it! I had found it pretty hard to find a deep plumpish red to suit my skin tone without it looking strange, and when swatching it in store i knew right then it would look good. This is the kind of colour i would begin to wear in novmeber and then stop wearing around the

South African Restaurant | Dads Birthday

Image
Hi guys! On Friday we celebrated my dads birthday. He got lots of exciting gifts and cards. He obviously got the main 'dad' present of toulbourone. Earlier on this month he had mentioned about going to a South African restaurant so, mum decided to book a table as a suprise. We told him on Monday that we were going out but wouldn't tell him where. He continuously  attempted to spoil the surprise by asking me and my brother where we were going. He hates surprises! We managed to keep it a secret though.  On Friday when we all arrived home from work/college we drove for about an hour to go to the South African restaurant. I think he knew where we were going as we had the built in satnav on and the postcode kind a gave it away. When we arrived it was fairly dark as we had the table booked for 7pm. The restaurant was next to a huge lake (i couldn't get a photo of this because it was to dark). We were welcomed by very friendly south african staff

Sugar Junction | Vintage Cafe

Image
Hi guys!  Yesterday my boyfriend and i went into Manchester city centre. The plan was to eat at Gourmet Burger Kitchen however it didn't open till 12. I love GBK they have the best french fries ever!! i could eat hundreds of them and not get bored. It was 10:45 and we both felt sickly hungry. We'd been into forbidden planet which is a shop full of all sorts of things from pop vinyls to comic books. My boyfriend Tony bought his brother a birthday present and we still had time to kill.  I remembered that round the corner was a little vintage sort of cafe (which are my favourite)  called Sugar Junction . I had seen it advertised online so we decided to pop in. We initially went for a drink however pancakes were on the menu and they are my favourite food.  I ordered a hot chocolate with marshmallows on top. I love it when the marshmallows begin to melt and i can scoop them up on the spoon whilst they are runny (yuuuuuuuum). Tony ordered a Vanilla milkshake t

Spring has NOT sprung | Snow in March!

Image
Hi Guys!!  It's March so on the 1st I text my saying 'white rabbits foot'. Every first day of each month me and my dad try to be the first to text or say to each other white rabbits foot. We have done this from me being a dot and i don't know why we do it really. I think it may have something to do with having good luck for that month if you say it first. I always like to try and win though because i am slightly competitive.... It's meant to be officially spring in a couple of week.  It defiantly didn't feel that way on Friday. I woke up to snow! It was so thick. 150 schools and colleges were shut in the surrounding areas. Guess what! Ours wasn't. Six of us turned up to college. Our college is near hills so we had more snow then most of the school that were shut. Transport was delayed and they eventually stopped busses to the city centre. I was happy to spend time with some friends though instead of being cooped up in
