LILAC EYE MAKE-UP

Image
Hi guys!  Today I was playing around with my make-up as I like to come up with new looks and generally just mess around. Today I decided to use a gel eyeliner which I haven't used in a really long time!  It was hard as I've not used it in a while so I had to use sticky tape to get a sharp line. I always make sure that the tape isn't super sticky as you don't want to be pulling the skin around your eye.  Products used: Chichi naturals palette RedEarth eye shadow in Aurora Maybeline gel eyeliner in black Nars all day illuminious foundation in Sibera Collection lasting perfection concealer in fair 01 MAC studio fix Powder in nw15  Anastasia Beverly Hills contour palette in Light Rimmel London blusher in Live Pink 50 Fraulein eyebrow palette Rimmel London brow this way eyebrow gel in Blonde Too faced liquid lipstick in Fig Make-up Revolution awesome metals in Platinum  Todays blog is only short however, I hope you enjoyed it!! LIBERTY CAKE COMPANY | AFTERNOON TEA

Image
Hi guys! Yesterday we visted a lovely cafe called the Liberty Cake Company. It was located in bury which isn't to far from Manchester.  So last sunday was fathers day and because I was working at a convention I was unable to spend the day with my dad.  I've known for a long time, that he has always wanted to try an afternoon/high tea. Knowing this I decided to book a table and take him to this very quaint cafe. I came across this cafe when searching on Google and I am glad I chose this out of all of them!  The whole family went came and also Tony as he is know classed as extended family, seen as I have been with him for so long. So anyway when we got to the cafe we were greeted by a very friendly waitress and taken to our table. There were very cute roses on the table. We firstly ordered drinks. Dad had a classic tea seen as we came for a afternoon tea. Tom and Mum had white hot chocolate, Tony an appletiser and I had a warm vimto. Warm vimto reall

FOUR QUICK AND EASY HAIR STYLES

Image
Hi guys!! As it's Wednesday, todays Blog is going to be beauty related. So I was wondering what to film and blog about today. At first I was going to show you all how I clean my make-up brushes but by the time I got round to filming they wouldn't of been dry in time for tomorrow. So I began to play around with my hair and then the idea popped into my head so, as you can tell my the name of this blog, I did four quick and easy hairstyles. You don't need to be expert as these as i certainly am not. Hair style one - Messy Pony Tail This is simple. Brush your hair through and then top your head upside down. Tie a bobble at the top of your head to create a high pony tail. Then pull at the hair to make it look messy. Hair style two: Half Up Pony Tail Tie half of your hair into a pony tail (the front half)  Then use your finger to make the front of it appear messy and undone. This is a good style to keep the fridge out of your eyes. Hair style three: The first ste

Dale-Con | Meeting FLASH GORDON

Image
Hi guys!! This weekend has been insanely busy for me. I worked at a comic convention in Rochdale known as Dale-Con. My job was to do face painting on children (and some adults). I wouldn't of thought that face painting could be so knackering  We had to be at the convention for 6am. This was to help everybody set up and get my stall prepared. We didn't end up leaving until around 6pm however, it was worth it. Throughout the weekend I painted so many faces. The down side to doing it is that you end up with a super sore back and neck from all the bending down. Most people who attended the event were very nice but, some people were extremely awkward. I had a book of face painting designs ready so that the children could chose which ever they liked. Most children and parent had no problem with this however, their was one parent who demanded her child be painted as a tiger. She wouldn't take no for an answer. Luckily their was a photo of a tiger on the box s

LUSH & ZOELLA HAUL

Hi guys!! If any of you have been reading my blogs for a while you will know that I am a huge fan of Lush products. In Manchester a new Lush store opened. So on Saturday before Tony and I went put on our date day, we decided to visit the new store.  I love it! It is so much bigger than the old store. When you walk in you no longer get the overwhelming smell, this is due to it being much larger and also air conditioned.  The main feature of the new store is that it contains a green house! It's apparently the first store in the UK to have a green house. The purpose of it is to show that the plants they grow in the green house actually get used in their products. I don't think people believe they use natural ingredients in their products. My Nanna very kindly surprised me with a few products about two weeks ago. The Lava Lamp Bath Bomb: This one i think is out for father day. It is bright orange with three purple polka dots on it. From the feel of the polka dots i have

DATE DAY IN MANCHESTER

Image
Hi guys! During the weekends me and Tony like to have a little us time. So that means either getting a dominos and watching movies/Netflix. We are currently watching Luther which we love and whilst on the Netflix subject, Orange is the new black season 4 this week! So excited.  Anyway.....we both also enjoy to go out on a date day/night.  When going out, we tend to stick with what we know but this time, w e decided to go to a restraunt we had never been to before. It  was called the Albert Square Chop Shop and was located in Manchester city centre not far from the Manchester town hall.  It was such a lovely place. The waiters were very nice and welcoming. The food came quickly and the atmosphere was plesant. The food w as a bit on the pricey side however, worth every penny.  I enjoyed a Shepards pie which came very well presented and Tony had steak with chips. That was one of the main reasons we went. He loves steak! I didn't have time to take photos of the chips as he tucked into

FESTIVAL GET READY WITH ME | HAIR | MAKEUP | ESSENTIALS

Image
Hi guys! Wednesday is the day I tend to upload my beauty related blog. Guess what!! here is one for you guys. This weekend kick starts the beginning of festival season here in the United Kingdom. The festival which starts this weekend is called 'Park Life'. Many of you from England are probably wear of it. It is held at Heaton Park in Manchester. As I mentioned in my previous blog/video, I am not a big festival lover. The idea of no bathroom and no show puts me off as I can be a bit OCD with my hygiene. Anyway before I begin to ramble on.... I wanted to show you another festival make-up. This time I went for glitter. Who doesn't love a bit of glitter. I also decided to do a 'hair tutorial' and also my festival essentials. COUNTRY PARK WALKS | SPAYING KITTENS

Image
This tree makes my imagination run wild. I can picture this being a home to a family of tree elves! Hi guys! On Friday we had our two kittens spayed, Whilst they were having the operation, we didn't want to be sat at home worrying. Instead whilst they were in the vets, we went for a family walk to keep our minds occupied. The weather was lovely (it still is which is shockingly). We decided to have a walk around our  local country park. The country park is called 'Daisy nook'. I love the name it sounds so pretty and quaint. When i was younger we used to come here a lot with our dog. There are a lot of rivers which she enjoyed to play in.  Whilst walking around we passed a couple of horses, ducks and swans. I love spotting swans. They are beautiful creatures. When we walked around the river we came across two families of geese. One goose had three goslings whilst the over had twelve! She is very lucky to have twelve.  I had to take h

Colour Correct | Flawless Finish

Image
Hi guys! I wanted to write a blog about how and why i colour correct and, how i make my skin appear flawless. I use NYX to colour correct however, there are hundreds of brands who sell colour correcting concelar.  Firstly i use a pore filling primer to make my skin appear flawless. It also helps to minimise the appearance of pores. I used the collection primed and ready however i am hopefully getting the benefit porefessional very soon. Don't get me wrong the collection one is excellent but i have wanted the porefessional for a long time. Im a bit late on the bang waggon!! I also apply the smash box water primer on top of this. The water primer just makes sure the make-up lasts all day. To colour correct i use green and yellow concelars. Green is used to hide redness such as blemishes and spots. When applying concelar to any problem areas, firstly apply it to the back of your hand and then use your finger to gently apply it to the problem area. I
